Isabel's Golden Rules for Easter Entertaining

Easter is the ultimate celebration and comes with a well-deserved long weekend.

We asked our Founder, Isabella, to share her golden rules for creating a beautiful Easter gathering at home.

Isabella shares with us how to pull it off and gives some inspiration for your tabletop!

1. Mix and Match

When mixing and matching try and stay within the same colour scheme. Go for different patterns and textures but keep them within the same hues. Think pastel with pastel, moody with moody and bright with bold. Don't forget the pops of green and yellow to really hop into Easter.

2. Keep it Functional

There's nothing worse than an over cluttered table with no room for food. Don't forget to think about heights too as you want your guests to be able to easily converse over the table.

3. Serve Family Style

Coming from a big Italian Family, Isabella knows a thing or two about serving family style. Passing dishes around from person to person and interacting over serving utensils is a great way to keep conversations flowing and ensure everyone feels the magic of Easter lunch.

4. Display Decorated Eggs

Spend some time with the little ones decorating Eggs. Isabella loves using dried flowers to really add some modern day romance to her egg display. Get creative and try using glue and dried flowers to create your masterpieces. These look great as a centrepiece when combined in a bowl or beautiful scattered around the table.

5. Combine the old with the new

Don't be afraid to combine the old with the new. Those passed down special pieces? Bring them out! And then combine them with your newer everyday essentials. Always have an Easter like centrepiece like a furry green bunny.

6. Happy Host, Happy Guests

When entertaining at Easter, you want your guests to feel welcomed and relaxed. The best way to help others feel relaxed at your table is to be relaxed yourself. Organisation is key here. Pre-prepare as much as possible, lay out your serving dishes and ALWAYS set the table the night before.

Isabel. curates products that invite a touch of magic into your home - the kind of magic that will help you entertain and live with ease.

We hope you stay inspired and always look on the bright side.
